I have spent a long time in suffering from the taints of the three poisons (which the Buddha has pointed out in the Dhamma):

  1. lust, greed, desire, craving
  2. hatred, aversion, ill-will, hostility
  3. ignorance, folly and delusion.

Nevertheless, these older men – who have suffered, for an even longer time, from pain of some kind or another – were generous enough to appear in a photo together with me.

Once again, I visited a Japanese-style tavern in Singapore, named Toku Izakaya.

And I met Taki-san from Kamakura, Japan. Taki-san has a 5-year-old son who is enrolled in a kindergarten near Clementi Woods. Taki-san has only been in Singapore for five years.

And, I met a regular customer at the same izakaya, once more: Mr. Erkka from Finland. Today Erkka had his hair in braids.
