What have I accomplished since the first mention of Covid appeared on the web-pages of news corporations worldwide? I write the below words to help me keep track of the goings-on in my life so far.
I make this list to help me make sense of the information that is swimming in my mind.
I list both the positive and negative attributes that other people have noticed in me.
(I have heard these with my own ears, over the past few years, especially after COVID occurred.)
You gave me a kiss But, later, a hiss
Did you know It can't be hidden
I recount the people who have left my life.
Let me recount recent deaths:

The word “Carna” means “meat” in Italian language. Hence, “Bottega de Carna”, or “shop of meat”.
I find it interesting to compare “carna”, in Italian, with “carnal” in English.
Under the shade of a tree A bee buzzed by my ear It was a boiling-hot day But the bee was still working
And I wondered to myself, How long until the bee drops dead, And does its queen Miss this hardworking bee When its hardworking segmented body finally crumbles?
