What's your life-project?

I heard that people feel bored, in the absence of a life-project. They have run out of things that occupy their time.

Other people may opt for the drug of stress, working themselves into a state of urgency, pursuing certain projects. But it does beg the question: are those the right projects? Or are they like Agamemnon's helmsman, who overcame obstacles to send Agamemnon to a destination where Agamemnon met his death? Clearly, we have to think about where we are heading, not just how we are getting there.

I have no easy answers. It is your life, your journey.

For me, I chose to seek (a Biblical) God while God may be found (through Lord Jesus Christ). And God is good to me. God is all I desire in this world. (And who do I have in Heaven, other than God?)

And, as it is written in the Bible: “This hope does not put us to shame, for God's love is poured out upon us, through the Holy Spirit.”

Again: what is your life-project? What are you hoping for? And does such a hope put you to shame (maybe because it would never happen)?
