A lot of people I respect say they feel more peaceful without these artificial influences on their own minds and bodies. Not easy to strive against the surging tide of a caffeine- and alcohol-dominated culture. But, hey, counter-cultural efforts are where the action's at. š¤
plague. Some new jargon in the headlines today. JN-1 or GN-1. But maybe mankind has always lived in the shadow of disease, war, and extreme weather. Every great work of art has always happened against such a backdrop. I believe in God who strengthens me when I grow discouraged and fearful.
