Where does this blog-post live?

Probably in a data centre, somewhere on Planet Earth.

But how long can this blog-post remain in that data centre? For instance, diskettes became obsolete in a few decades. So, if this Toot wants to live on, it has to migrate from one storage medium to another, as technological norms change over time.

Is it difficult for something to last forever? Yes, indeed.

I am reminded of a famous poem, titled Ozymandias. It is about how the empire of a powerful king became forgotten and ruined, under the attack of time and decay. (Written by Shelley: https://poets.org/poem/ozymandias )
